Serve St. Louis | Lake St. Louis Stake Opportunity

As we approach the anniversary of last year’s St. Louis tornado on May 16th, our community is coming together to support ongoing recovery efforts. In partnership with the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, volunteers from across the area will be helping provide food and support to families still in need.

Our stake has been invited to take part, in particular:

📅 Saturday, May 9
📦 Food packing and sorting
⏰ 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (come when you can, stay as long as you’re able)

We’re hoping to have 10–20 volunteers from across the stake join in this effort. This is a simple, hands-on way to make a real difference.

Seminary graduation will be held on May 17th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Lake St. Louis Stake Center. All seminary students and their families are invited, as well as incoming 9th graders and their families. Church dress is requested and refreshments will follow.

We love, follow, and listen to Jesus Christ. Holy Week is a special time for us to reflect on the final week of Christ’s earthly ministry and resurrection. His triumphant path through His atoning sacrifice, which suffering beginning in Gethsemane and amplified on the Cross, freed us from sin and hell. His glorious resurrection freed us from physical pain and death.

Because of Him, all will rise with perfected resurrected bodies to stand before God to be judged. Through Him, by means of repentance, change, and trying our personal best to follow our Savior; will grant us eternal joy in His kingdom. This is His promise to His disciples.

The center of our faith, hope, and charity is Jesus Christ and find peace through grace and works.
