A message from our Knights of Columbus:
"The Knights of Columbus Council 8183 expresses its sincere gratitude to our Seton Lake Ridge Parishioners, our friends, and neighbors who made our Annual Yard Sale a huge success. During the two-week drop-off period, you contributed very good clothing, shoes, household goods, tools, games, puzzles, jewelry, collectibles, framed items, luggage, backpacks, bicycles, camping items, and coolers, which became treasures for others. We especially thank the 502 shoppers who came through on Saturday, August 1, and the 182 who entered on Sunday, August 2, who purchased these treasures.
A thank you to the Parish staff for providing Council 8183 Seton Hall for two weeks as the main location of the Annual Yard Sale.
The money raised will fund programs associated with Faith, Family, Life, and Youth, as well as additional charitable causes in the area. The items that were not sold were boxed up and donated to the House of Mercy in Manassas (https://houseofmercyva.org/). The House of Mercy is a Catholic nonprofit striving to provide basic necessities for those in need as a way of living out our faith and showing people God’s mercy and love. Items that the House of Mercy did not accept were taken to SAVERS.
Council 8183 Knights, their families and friends, contributed over 700 man-hours to this endeavor. We thank you all!"
