Grace Episcopal Church, Lake Providence, La Grace Episcopal Church’s mission as a Christian family is to fulfill our baptismal vows by sharing Christ’s love and teachings each Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

The Service of the Episcopal Church was established in Providence in 1846 when the Reverend Alexander McLeod came to the village. Twice during 1847, Bishop James Hervey Otey, Bishop of Tennessee, visited the mission and confirmed persons at the request of Bishop Leonidas Polk, the first Bishoop of Louisiana. In 1857, the Reverend C. George Currie was put in charge of the work of the church in Providence and it was at this time that the church adopted the name of Grace Church.

PANCAKE SUPPER! Grace Episcopal Church partnered along with the First Methodist Church will once again have the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday, March 4th from 5 pm to 7 pm at Virginia Harris Hall - 102 Ingram Street. Tickets available or you may purchase at the door! $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children ages 9 and under. We look forward to seeing you Tuesday! Happy Mardi Gras!

Grace Church will not have Sunday morning worship, our Christmas Eve service will be held at 7:00 PM tomorrow evening. If your home Church is not having services tomorrow night, we would love to have you at Grace Church! All are welcome to come celebrate the reason for the season. Merry Christmas!
