Are you searching for a place to find God . A house of worship so to speak. A come as you are place where you can just sit and be you and learn about God, who he is,? A good father, a good friend. And learn about who you are? A special daughter or son, loved by a good father. More than 15 years ago I was driving home late one night. To my home in Lake Point and as I was driving up Sunset rd. I looked and the mountain began to illuminate with thousands of eyes.I thought wow look at all those deer or sheep.
It didn't make sense to me and then as I came to Lake shore drive. I had what someone might call an open vision
( sounds crazy I know). The eyes became closer and closer together then all of a sudden a stream of young people began walking out of the mountain. Freak me out yes! I thought for sure a bunch of teens were going to pound on my car after midnight. But soon I realized that what I had seen was a God vision. At that moment I heard his voice ( again weird I know). He told me to start a church in Lake Point. Not on my agenda .
Not me " I thought!" 🤔 but it was so real I couldn't ignore it. He led me to an abandoned building in the middle of a field. That was torn down on the inside, no way could I rebuild this. But he did little by little he began to create a worship center and it's beautiful on the inside. I didn't put a lot of money into it nor did I do much labor. He sent the workers and the finances. And now 15 years later I realized that he called me for a purpose, for you. These young people today are in their mid to late 30s, with families. Like I said it didn't make sense then Lake Point was only fields not a lot of homes. Now a community. Does anyone plan a garden 15 miles away. No you planted in your own backyard. So I'm here to welcome those of you who would like to come and help me reestablish the "Gathering a Place.'Oh yes there's only a few of us now, you will see. But when you come others will come and we can work together. I have seen and witnessed the miraculous hand of God and I would like to share it with you. So if you're looking for a place to plant, do it in your own community. I planted the seed and you can help me to water. We are open on Sunday for now at 10:30 and service begins at 10:45. Hoping soon to begin Bible studies. And children's ministry but I can't do it alone. So if you feel a calling to come and put your hand to the plow. I can certainly use the help.
