Whether you are visiting for the weekend or have lived in Lake Placid your whole life, we invite you to come and join us for worship this Sunday! These words encompass what we're all about at Adirondack Community Church. Everyday we're striving to love God and those around us better. We're also trying to learn more about God, as well as each other. And though we're not perfect - we are slowly succ

eeding at these goals and as a result - we're GROWING! Growing as individuals and growing as a church. So no matter where you find yourself on your own faith journey, we invite you to be a part of what is going on at Adirondack Community Church. Come LOVE, LEARN, and GROW with us!

Whoa, it's Friday! Postcard Friday, that is! This postcard is of the Lake Placid Methodist Church, now Adirondack Community Church, and is signed on the back "President of Board of Trustees" with the date of their "Annual Meeting, March 10, 1938!" There is so much history within our community, and here on social media we skim just the surface of topics... If you want more information on any and all topics, be sure to join us at the History Museum! The countdown is on for our opening date on Memorial Day weekend! Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks!

You are invited to join us at 4 or 7pm for a Christmas Eve candlelight service. 4:00 will be family-focused and feature contemporary music. 7:00 will be a traditional lessons and carols service. Both will point us toward the wonder of the Christmas gift of Jesus! See you there!

Join us for one service at 11:00 this Sunday, December 21, for our "Manger Tales" Children's Christmas Program and Carol Sing. We’ve all heard the stories of Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the wise men, but what about the others who were there when Jesus was born? Manger tales will introduce you to the animals that were there, from the residents of the stable to visitors from afar. As each animal pays a visit to a TV talk show, we will see the Christmas story through their eyes and get a fresh perspective on the wonder of Christmas. ***No 9:00 service this week.***
