It's that time of year!! Registration is OPEN- ages 5-7 & 8-11 will meet starting March 12th- no worries about a conflict with your spring break plans, as we will have that week off! We will jump back in with skills and drills on March 24th. Other dates:
MARCH: 26th, 31st
APRIL: 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th, 21st and end-of-season party on the 28th.

HEE HAW VARIETY SHOW-has fifty plus participants fashioned after the epic television show which was popular for many years. There are business owners, schoolteachers, and joke tellers from within our community and neighboring counties all wrapped into one entertaining night. Multi-talented singers in every vocal range accompanied by award winning musicians will be on stage contributing to this worthwhile endeavor of funding the new Genesis Center Mural. The original Lake Placid Hee Haw began with the talents of Tommie Scarborough, a teacher at Lake Placid High School. It was a "sometimes annual" event which brought local talent together to earn plenty of hay for the athletic association. Sisters Dr. Debra Elliott and Kellie Kelley joined in and eventually took over. The sisters, with encouragement from Mary Rucker, decided it was time for a revival and the proceeds will go towards the mural on the Genesis Center. Hee Haw will be featuring your friends, neighbors maybe even your kin folk! Skits and songs for your enjoyment are sure to delight and tickle your funny bone! Ya'll Come!

One of the most significant challenges to Christianity is the evil and suffering that is in the world and why does God allow it to happen. We hope you can join us for our third annual FPC conference where Jason Jimenz will unpack this topic and more. On Friday evening Jason will break down the tension between God and the reality of evil by making the biblical case for why things are the way they are and what God plans to do about it. Saturday we look at effectively addressing the next generation's spiritual, emotional, and cultural challenges. Depression, p**n, sexuality, gender identity, racism, abortion, technology... how do we guide our youth through this minefield?
