We know that everyone is beginning to work on repairing the damage sustained after Hurricane Milton, especially cleaning yard debris. We are working closely with Emergency Management from the Highlands County Board of County Commissioners, Government on coordinating storm debris pickup and will update you as soon as a schedule is prepared. For now, if you have tree limbs and branches from the storm, go ahead and put it roadside. If you can bag and tie your leaves, Spanish moss, etc., PLEASE DO THAT!

We understand that residents may have more debris than what can be collected at one time, which is why we are closely working with the County to ensure the most efficient way to assess collecting yard debris.

We appreciate your patients with us, as well as the County. We hope to have an update for you soon.
