At CLC during the recent “True North” Vacation Bible School held at the beginning of August … youth were working along with their leaders on a service project for area school buses to provide fleece hats (35), scarves (20), and/ or mittens (1+) as needed during the upcoming school year. When young ones ride these rural routes unprepared for the frigid winter days ahead… now they’ll have some warm options to keep them safe ❄️🧣❄️🧤❄️

And the youngest VBS kiddos assisted by making 20 birthday kits for the local food pantries — including the pan, cake mix, frosting, soda, candles, balloons, napkins, and birthday card — all wrapped and ready to share

“SIMPLY BLESSED” About 12 of God’s special angels worked together to bring a bright & beautiful reminder to life with their creativity & energy 🫟🎨🫟 It’ll be outside the gazebo all summer… so please snap some photos and share with us as you gather to worship & hear God’s word 🙏🙏🙏

🤗 Big thanks to Carman Lynnes for donating the plywood for our mural art project, to Becky Sorenson for sharing her talents & teacher gifts with our youth, to Mike Vandal for preparing the board by sanding & priming, and to the parents who brought & supported our young ones during the artistic process — I’m grateful for all who helped my vision become a reality. ✝️💟☮️

May 27th was an absolutely beautiful evening 🌲☀️🌲to host our CLC youth & family outdoor games 😎🏐🥅 & movie night 🍿🎥🍿Well attended… lots of conversation, laughter, and fun!!! 😆🤣😂 Plus just a “few” tears 😢💦😢 brought on throughout the movie “Miracles From Heaven” 💖🙏💖

CLC Riverside Mission delivered some of the care bags decorated and assembled by one of our Sunday School service projects 🙏🙏🙏 Rae said hearts were touched ✝️💗❣️

Bring the kids to join in on a fun art project between services on June 7th. They will be adding their personal touch to a mural to be displayed in the churchyard.
