Central United Methodist Church - Lake Odessa Worship at 9:30 am Memorial Day through Labor Day

Fall-Spring Worship begins at 10:30 am*. Worship begins at 10:30 am*. We sing, read scripture, and pray.

The sermon is an exposition of Biblical truth. The whole morning is easy to follow with a printed bulletin in your hand or by following what is projected on the screen. Children's Church (K-6th grade) and Nursery (infants-4 year olds) are available. When worship ends about 11:45ish, we move to Fellowship Hall for coffee, cookies, and conversation. We are handicapped accessible and have a hearing l

oop in the sanctuary.

"All Things Bright and Beautiful" (no. 147 in The United Methodist Hymnal) was written by Cecil Frances Alexander, an Irish writer, in 1848. It notes the work of God's creation in both the majestic--like "purple-headed mountains--and the minute--like an open flower. It invites in us an awareness of God's work around us.
