🥾 Faith in Motion: Shelving Rock Falls! 🌲💦

Our Faith in Motion hiking group enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at Shelving Rock Falls! We hiked to the waterfall, spent some time swimming in Lake George, and simply enjoyed being together in God’s beautiful creation.

It was the perfect laid-back adventure for parents and kids alike, filled with fresh air, fellowship, and plenty of fun. ❤️

We’re so thankful for opportunities like these to slow down, enjoy one another’s company, and appreciate the beauty God has placed all around us.

🍎 Growing the Fruit of the Spirit! 🍇

Our Children’s Ministry is continuing to learn about the Fruit of the Spirit, and this past Sunday we focused on patience. 💛

Through the story of Abraham and Sarah, the kids learned what it means to wait on God. Abraham and Sarah waited many, many years for the son God had promised them. Even when it seemed like they might never hold that little boy in their arms, God was faithful to His promise.

What a beautiful reminder for our kids, and for us too! Waiting isn’t always easy, especially when we can’t see what God is doing. But we can trust that God is faithful, His timing is good, and His promises are worth waiting for. 🙌

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness…”
Galatians 5:22 🌿

We love watching these kiddos grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and learn what it looks like to grow the Fruit of the Spirit in their own lives! ❤️

✨ Day 2 at Illumination Station was another amazing night! ✨

What a blessing it was to see so many smiling faces as we continued learning that Jesus is the Light of the World! 💡

Yesterday, our VBS kids:
💡 Continued practicing our memory verse, John 8:12
🎶 Sang and danced to our Illumination Station theme songs
🍩 Made delicious He is risen Donuts for snack
👕 Created colorful tie-dye cross t-shirts
💦 Learned about John the Baptist, who felt unworthy to baptize Jesus, yet faithfully obeyed God’s plan.
🎉 Played games, laughed together, and made wonderful memories with friends!

Our Boys vs. Girls Donation Bucket Challenge is also heating up! 🎒Every dollar raised will support the Hadley-Luzerne Backpack Program, helping provide local students with necessities they may otherwise go without. Tonight is the final night to donate… so who will come out on top? The boys are currently in the lead, but there’s still time for the girls to make a comeback! 🏆
