Tomorrow we’ll continue our journey through The Story as we look at Daniel in Exile.

Daniel was taken from his home, surrounded by a culture that did not honor God, and faced pressure to compromise his faith at every turn. Yet through it all, God remained faithful.

Daniel’s story reminds us that we don’t have to be in the perfect place for God to be at work. Whether we’re facing uncertainty, disappointment, loneliness, or a season we never expected, God is still present and still in control.

Join us tomorrow at 10:00 AM as we explore what it means to remain faithful when life doesn’t go according to plan.

Weekly Reminder 💙

As we move through the week, remember that as followers of Christ, we were never meant to find our ultimate home in this world. Like the exiles in Babylon, there may be times when we feel out of place, misunderstood, or different from the culture around us.

The good news is that God does not abandon His people in exile. He met Ezekiel in Babylon, and He meets us wherever we are today. In our struggles, disappointments, and uncertainties, His presence remains constant.

Take a few moments this week to thank God for His faithfulness and ask Him to help you live boldly for Him, even when it's not easy.

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." — Romans 12:2

We're praying for you, church family. Have a blessed week!

📖 This week in The Story we move from Chapter 17: The Kingdoms’ Fall into Chapter 18: Daniel in Exile.

On Sunday we reflected on the dark days of Judah, a season marked by rebellion, brokenness, and ultimately exile. Kings rose and fell, prophets warned the people, and Jerusalem itself collapsed under Babylonian rule. Yet even in judgment and hardship, God had not abandoned His people.

This week we will meet Daniel, a young man taken captive to Babylon and brought into service in the royal court.

Daniel and his friends faced enormous pressure to adopt Babylonian culture, beliefs, and practices. They were surrounded by a foreign world that challenged their identity and faith. Yet through it all, they remained faithful to God.

One of the powerful reminders throughout this chapter is this: God rules over kings, kingdoms, and history itself. Even in exile, God was still working. Even in Babylon, His purposes had not failed.

As you read this week, consider this question:

How can we remain faithful to God when culture or circumstances pull us in another direction?

💙 Midweek Reminder 💙

“When it is time to save you, I will help you. I will keep you safe.” — Isaiah 49:8

What a comforting promise from God.

There are moments when life feels uncertain, overwhelming, or beyond our control. But God reminds us that He sees us, helps us, and keeps us safe in His care.

His timing is perfect, and His love is constant. We may not always understand the path ahead, but we can trust the One who walks with us through it all.

This week, may we rest in the peace of knowing that God is our helper and protector.

Whatever you are facing today, remember: you are never alone. 💙
