- a true friend will speak truth in love to you even if it wounds you...the heart of a friend is always loyal and faithful and has your best in mind
- an enemy is not always easily recognized; just because someone speaks kind words doesn't mean they have good intentions
*Spiritual Discernment is key! Be aware of who you let in your circle. Past hurts are never a reason to stop developing true friendships

Faith is a Choice

I can remember the season of my life when I realized the simple principle that, “faith is a choice”.
When it came to faith I found myself searching my feelings to determine if I had faith. But when I realized that I could choose. I realized that I didn’t have to be a slave to fear or nagging doubts or paralyzing thoughts that God would not provide or show me His favor.

When we choose faith; we choose a God guarantee. We can live with confidence and hope. A “knowing” that everyday as we live with this “invisible evidence” this “ intangible substance” we are closer to our hope becoming a reality.

I realize that when Jesus freed me; He freed me so I could always choose my own reality: faith or fear.

The freedom we have in Christ is to experience the limitless, grace filled, abundant, forgiven life to whatever measure we can believe for or we can choose fear and uncertainties. But we must realize it’s a choice. God will not force His blessings or His promise on us; nor will they happen automatically.

We must choose everyday to walk by faith to experience the fullness of God.

“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬
