Sunset UMC is a Christ‑centered, community‑focused church in Pasadena, Texas, committed to sharing God’s love through worship, service, and connection. Our church has been part of this neighborhood since the 1950s, faithfully serving families, supporting our community, and offering a place where people can grow in their walk with Christ.
At Sunset UMC, you’ll find uplifting worship, ministries for all ages, and a heart for outreach—especially to the diverse and vibrant families around us. We offer multiple opportunities to gather and grow throughout the week, including men’s groups, women’s fellowship, crafting groups, Bible studies, and activities for children and parents. On Sundays, we offer several worship services—a Contemporary service at 9:00 a.m., a Traditional service at 11:00 a.m., and a heartfelt Spanish service at 11:30 a.m. There is truly a place for everyone.
As a small neighborhood church with a long history, we depend on the prayers, involvement, and support of our congregation and community to continue the ministries God has entrusted to us.
