🔥 This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. 🔥

Wind. Fire. A loud sound.
That's how the Holy Spirit came, 2,000 years ago.
Some people call it the church's birthday.
Some people call it the day God first came to live inside us.
I like both.
I'll be wearing red on Sunday.
You can wear red too, or not. No pressure.
Come join us as we remember that day.

What a day! 🎉⛳🍪

Today we gathered at Castle Cove Mini Golf & Arcade for our Mini Golf Arcade & Bake Sale Fundraiser. What an incredible time it was!

As you can see from the photos, so many people came out to join the fun. We laughed together and shared fellowhip and the love of Jesus together.

A few important discoveries were made today:

* A 3-foot putt can somehow become a life lesson in patience.
* “I’m only buying one cookie” is one of the biggest lies ever told. 😂

But beyond all the laughs, today truly mattered.

Every golf swing, cupcake, brownie, cookie, and donation will help support our August Backpack Giveaway event, where we hope to bless children and families in our community as they prepare for the new school year.

A very special thank you to Castle Cove Mini Golf & Arcade for generously providing the place and supporting this event. Your kindness helped create such a joyful and meaningful day for everyone!

Thank you to all the volunteers, bakers, donors, families, and friends who came out today. Church is not just something we attend — it’s people loving, serving, laughing, and growing together.

And finally, after careful theological consideration, we have concluded:
Calories consumed at church fundraisers are covered by grace. 🙏🍰😆

Happy Ascension Sunday, friends! 🕊️☁️

Today we remember that Jesus went UP. And in a much less miraculous way... so did I. I'm at Annual Conference this weekend, so I won't be in the pulpit — but our worship is in *very* good hands.
