Michael unpacks the sacred practices of the Lenten season in the kitchen, and how spiritual practices designed for the stomach, promotes conversion through spiritual discipline and practice, allowing the human person to be restored. I always marvel at the designs of bridges, as they are not only a means of travel, but are beautiful works of art. Bridges are symbolic to life as well whether we choose to build bridges or burn them. Bridges often close in the gaps to our lives allowing us to be more connected to God and others.
