D.I.Y. G.N.O. (DO-IT-YOURSELF GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT)
September 9 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

When: Friday, September 9, 5:00-8:00 PM
Who: The women of Calvary and their friends!

Girls’ Night Out will look a little different this year! With a nod to all the remodeling projects going on around the church, we’re hosting a Do-It-Yourself Girls’ Night Out!

What does that mean?

YOU DO:

Bring a friend! (or two… or three… the more the merrier!)
Bring a dish to share! (We’ll provide fried chicken… you provide the rest! Make a favorite appetizer, side, or dessert to show off!)
Bring a table game! (one that you really enjoy, that can be played in less than an hour, and that would be fun with friends!)
WE DO:

Provide a festive atmosphere and conversation cards
Provide time to catch up with old friends or make new ones!
Offer a variety of crafts to try
Promise a night of encouragement and a preview of the fall lineup for Ministry to Women!
No need to register. Feel free to come and go any time, as your schedule allows.

Today was crazy with the wet snow but in 4 hours we raised $400 to offset costs for our Sabbath Retreat!
Such dedicated women!!!

A couple of teen boys looking at the promo poster by the office were overheard saying "I didn't know the women played Mortal Combat"
Oh sweet boys, it's not fictitious and we are not playing. We are engaged in real, albeit, unseen warfare and it's time to put on our armor and get serious about engagement.

In case you missed the fun, here's 29 seconds of Saturday's Coffee & Connect where we chopped, sauteed, fellowshiped, and made 40 quarts of homemade chicken vegetable soup - one to keep and one to use as an "excuse" to go visit someone and share the love of Jesus!
