I had the privilege of joining my friend Katherine Wolf on The Good Hard Story Podcast, and oh, what a soulful journey it was. We found ourselves in tears as we delved into the depths of mental illness, the healing sanctuary of respite, and the profound privilege of holding space for those in pain. If you're longing for a story of deep hurt and even deeper hope, I invite you to take a listen.

If you have a child of any age who struggles with their mental health, please join me on Saturday, August 19, from 10-11 a.m. (PT) for the next Zoom call in our BREATHE Conversations Series. I will be joined by Steve Pitman, J.D., President of the NAMI Orange County Board of Directors, for a conversation about “Things I Wish I Had Known.” Steve will share his experiences of caretaking for his older brother who lived with schizoaffective disorder and his granddaughter who lived with bipolar disorder. He’ll offer practical ways to know how to help yourself and your loved one in a mental health crisis, and ways to connect with ongoing support. Please register at https://kaywarren.com/breathecalls. This is a free event.
