We are about 60 days away from the Refresh Conference. If you are like me and are an adoptive/foster parent you won't want to miss this incredible life-changing event!

Concerned about the pandemic? If it follows the same trend as last year we can expect the infection rate to drop to a low baseline like it did in mid-February of 2021. Plus the new venue is an indoor/outdoor venue so we will provide the safest type of experience possible.

Come, walk through the Doors of Hope to an experience of inspiration, healing and tools you’ll live and take with you.

YOU'RE INVITED!
You’re invited to a heartwarming and inspiring evening dedicated to learn a way that our churches can impact the story of children in need of families.
Come hear Francis Chan, international author, preacher, and advocate for vulnerable children, share what the Bible has to say about our role in helping vulnerable children. Then be a part of a special screening of “Children of Shanghai,” a documentary about the story of a million orphaned children in China finding hope in a family. All because one family took a leap of faith and said, “Yes God, we will go."

Bring your small group, friends, and family for this evening filled with inspiration! Doors open at 5:30 with dinner for purchase from gourmet food trucks. You’ll have a chance before the event to mingle with the star of the documentary, Robert Glover, the producer Matthew Gao along with other ministries that serve vulnerable children.

You’ll walk away encouraged with practical and tangible steps we each can take to help vulnerable children in our communities find hope and healing in families.

Doors open at 5:30 PM with Food Trucks and Outreach Expo to learn and mingle with various organizations that serve vulnerable children locally and globally. The event will start at 6:30 PM sharp and ends at 8:30 PM. We will have both indoor and outdoor seating to watch the event.

Join Kay Warren on August 23 at 1PM (PDT) with Dr. Casey Call, from The Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University. Dr. Call is a developmental psychologist who has practical information and tools that can help parents manage their stress levels and anxiety. She will also share about the impact of ongoing change and uncertainty on children’s patterns, moods, physical health, and behaviors.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we find ourselves entering the fall season and our lives look very different than they did at this time a year ago. This is especially true for kids as they go “back to school” online from home. Many parents tell us they feel unequipped and unprepared to manage this stressful situation that has so many unknowns. The pressure definitely affects the mental health of not only the children, but the parents as well.
Tune in to Kay's Page on Sunday at 1PM (PDT)
