had their monthly meeting and workshop this past Saturday. We are so immensely blessed with the amount and variety of talent, knowledge and years of experience within our group of devoted photographers. We are able to constantly learn more about how to minister to our church and visitors by capturing and documenting all of the great things happening on our campuses. is an amazing photographer and shared her vast knowledge of editing (where most of the time and work is ) and picking the best shots of the day. has decades of experience and shared some of the camera basics and settings. .diederich.9 who always has his finger on the pulse point between us and our Media and Marketing teams shared some exciting new changes to our downloading and sharing system, and our new Ministry leader Pastor Jacob was there to support and inspire us in our Ministry. Please note, you do not have to be a member of pics to come to the meetings. All are welcome 🙏🏼 and sometimes we have doughnuts 🍩 😉.

We have had so many exciting things going on at Saddleback. Last week we had special baptisms held at all of our Saddleback campuses. So many people including full families gave their life to Christ while surrounded by their congregation. We actually had a difficult time photographing them as we were also in tears seeing their joy. Always such an honor to be able to capture such profound moments in someone’s life. We are blessed !

Yesterday was our first PICS meeting and workshop of 2025. We started with a heartfelt Testimony from Dan Serna and got to hear from Jeff Brown and see his amazing work with Street Photography. He has offered to set up a time for us to go on a street photography adventure together. Keep in mind you don’t have to be a PICS member in order to attend our meeting and workshops. Anyone with a desire and passion for photography is welcome to come.

What an exciting week capturing all of the Christmas Services at !! The spirit of Christ birth was strong at every service and within each person we met or photographed. It was the best possible way to spend the holidays. Pretty much indescribable so we will let the images speak for us. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all from the PICS team

It was such a treat to be there to capture the Shop for Christmas event held at the campus. This event made my Christmas! Our congregation and community donated new gifts for all age groups of kids and parents who are struggling were invited to come and get gifts and food supplies for their kids. Volunteers were there to help them pick and wrap the gifts for them. Watching this all unfold made my heart feel so full! I know as a single Mom when my kids were little, Christmas would bring an extra load of worry. The impact of this event was the most Christ like event I have ever captured. We love our church, especially the people ! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 ❤️❤️❤️

Well if you missed the Retreat today you missed a great event! Guest photographer shared his vast knowledge of lighting on camera and off camera and an afternoon of practical practice with some a very beautiful family. Continued with photoshop tips and work arounds that makes our editing process easier! Thank you .diederich.9 .natividad for all of the great information that was shared with everyone.

Hey Everyone and I do mean Everyone! The PICS ministry is having a very exciting Retreat photography workshop on Saturday August 31st. Starting at 9:00 am and going until 3:00 pm in the Plaza View room at Saddleback Lake Forest. This is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about Photography. You must sign up online so that we can count you in for lunch and have an accurate count. If you have a Camera bring it ! If you want to bring a laptop , even better !! There will be some great information being shared and opportunities to try out what you are learning. Between all the the instructors there is decades and decades of experience and knowledge.
