Swisher Cemetery Association will have a tent at the big Lake Cities Fourth of July Celebration tomorrow, Saturday, June 27th. Stop by and visit to discuss the cemetery's history or find out more about us.

For almost 160 years, Swisher Cemetery has served as a final resting place of honor and respect for our family and friends in the Lake Cities Area. We endeavor to uphold the maintenance and management of Swisher Cemetery to the highest standards. Swisher Cemetery Association evolved from what was known as the "Birthday Club", and volunteers have kept the cemetery operational and beautiful all this time. Many plans are in place for this year. Most immediately, the association will participate in the annual Memorial Day service held on our grounds. We invite you to join us this coming Monday, May 25th at 9:00 a.m. as the VFW, American Legion, Boy Scouts, and Swisher Cemetery Association unite to honor those who have served above and beyond. Additionally, the annual informational fundraising letter will be mailed out in early summer. If you want to ensure you receive a letter, please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address. Future plans being discussed are reviving the annual Mother's Day service and possibly adding a Veteran's Day event. More information will be forthcoming.
