Greater Denton County FCA Athlete of the Month
Jacob Ibidapo
Little Elm High School| Football/Basketball

Jacob is a true leader both on and off the field/court. As one of our student leaders in FCA, he consistently steps up by leading prayer during our meetings and setting the tone for what it looks like to live out your faith boldly.

Coach Jackson shared, “This young man is one of our leaders at FCA and leads prayer at our meetings. On the basketball court he also leads by example with character and honor.” That leadership doesn’t stop when the game ends—Jacob is always willing to talk about Christ and pray for others at any moment.

His impact goes far beyond athletics, but his hard work has also paid off on the field, as he is committed to play wide receiver at Army.

Jacob represents what it means to be a complete athlete! One who competes with excellence, leads with integrity, and lives with purpose. We are proud of the way he continues to shine his light and influence those around him.

Jacob’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”

The reason this is his favorite verse is because in the chapter Paul teaches us a lifestyle we should live as children of Christ through the way we think, speak and greet others, and the verse its self teaches that we can endure all things because Christ is the one who strengthens us!

We’re preparing for our upcoming Greater Denton County FCA Golf Tournament, and we’re looking for raffle items to bless our players and help support local coaches and athletes through FCA.

Greater Denton County FCA Athlete of the Month
Baylee Bowman
Denton Guyer High School | Basketball

Baylee has reached an incredible milestone this season, surpassing 1,000 career points while also recording over 100 steals in a single season — a testament to her relentless effort on both ends of the court. For the past three years, she has been a cornerstone of the Lady Wildcat program, consistently elevating those around her with her competitive spirit and team-first mentality. As Coach Floyd shared, “Baylee is, and has been for 3 years, an integral part of the Lady Wildcat program. She is such a bright spot in our group and loves her teammates. A relentless competitor throughout the year, Baylee’s impact is worthy of recognition.” Her dedication, leadership, and passion for the game make her truly deserving of Athlete of the Month honors!
