Part 2 of Family Night

🌿💚 Rainforest Falls VBS 2026 — That’s a Wrap! 💚🌿

What an incredible week we have had at VBS! Tonight’s Family Night was the perfect ending to an amazing adventure. From our VBS recap and pizza party to the color run, there were smiles, laughter, and memories made all around. The kids absolutely loved getting covered in color and celebrating all they learned this week!

One of the highlights of the night was getting to pie our pastor in the face after a week of excitement and anticipation! The kids had an absolute blast, and it made for a fun memory to wrap up an unforgettable week together. 🎉🥧

We were also blessed to raise almost $500 for missions, helping support our upcoming mission efforts. Thank you to every child and family who gave so generously. It was exciting to see everyone participate and make a difference for the Kingdom of God.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every parent, grandparent, and family member who entrusted us with your children this week. Thank you for bringing them, encouraging them, and allowing us the opportunity to share God’s Word with them.

A special thank you goes to every volunteer, photographer, music leader, teacher, group leader, registration worker, kitchen helper, game leader, craft volunteer, security team member, and behind-the-scenes servant who gave their time, energy, and love to make this year’s VBS such a success. A special thank you to our Pastor, Rodney, and his wonderful wife Stacy and family for being there with us every step of the way, helping with set up and serving each day. It truly takes a church family working together to make a week like this possible.

Most importantly, we give all the glory to God. Throughout this week, we learned that God is Our Creator, God is Love, and God is Forever. Our prayer is that seeds were planted in the hearts of these children that will continue to grow and produce fruit for years to come. We trust that God is still working long after VBS has ended.

Our hearts are full of gratitude for all God has done this week. Thank you, Lord, for every child, every family, every volunteer, every lesson taught, every prayer prayed, and every opportunity to share the hope of Jesus.

Rainforest Falls VBS 2026 is officially in the books, and we couldn’t be more thankful. To God be all the glory! ❤️

Part 1

On Night 3, we learned that God Is Forever as we explored John’s vision of heaven and were reminded that God’s promises, His love, and His presence will last forever! ✨

On Night 2, we discovered that God Is Love as we learned about Jesus’ death and resurrection and how His love changes everything. ❤️

We are so thankful for every child, volunteer, and family who joined us on this adventure through Rainforest Falls. It has been a joy to watch these kids grow in their faith and learn more about our amazing God.

🌿🐒 Rainforest Falls VBS Night 1 Recap! 🐒🌿 (Part 1 of 2)

What an amazing start to VBS at Lunsford Baptist Church! Last night we had so many sweet kiddos and incredible volunteers as we kicked off our week learning that God is Our Creator.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to share God’s love with children in our community. Seeing their excitement, laughter, and eagerness to learn about Jesus is such a blessing!

Thank you to everyone who helped make Night 1 a success. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for the rest of the week!

Night 2 is going to be epic! We also have a special night planned for the kids (shhh, it’s a secret) this coming Wednesday during Family Night. Send them in a white or light colored shirt for
the color run on Wednesday.
