Wesley Memorial Methodist Church A Global Methodist Church Found 10/9/60 with 72 people met in someone's home for services and began Wesley Memorial UMC.

On March 17, 1963 ground was broken for the original church building. On March 2, 2005 ground was broke for the addition of our newst structure, our fellowship hall which hosts a long list of events such as monthly fellowship dinners, weddings, fundraisers, funerals, evening bible studies and AWANA to name a few!!

Florida Power and Light, How Far a Lean is Acceptable?

Since October 2025 I have personally made seven documented calls to Florida Power & Light about a pole that is on our property. Our concern, is that this pole at any time could snap and cause great harm to people and vehicles that are around it.  I know some may say park on the other end of the parking lot! And that would be acceptable if it were not for the fact that parents who are dropping off their children at Summer’s Elementary school next-door and picking those children up after school are directed around this particular pole.  I am hopeful that someone at FPL will take the initiative and push this ticket through.
