Thankful Thursday !!

There isn’t enough space to write down everything im thankful the Lord has blessed me with but I want to share how THANKFUL I am that a member of my church was able to DONATE bibles to me so I can make sure the ladies who show up for our FIRST meet up in 12 days can own a Bible if they don’t have one!!

God is GOOD! God is FAITHFUL and I’m thankful my God shows me miracles and gives me blessings when I’m an obedient servant to him.

I can’t wait to give a Bible to someone onAugust 27th who doesn’t own one, it’s a sword to fight all your battles! It’s the living word of Jesus Christ, it guides me in life!

Motivate Monday!

For most kids it’s their FIRST day of school this morning! So I’m motivating you to pray with your kids!

Pray for all of the students to have a great school year, to be kind and humble to one another.

Pray for all the teachers to remain patient among the chaos.

Pray for the staff and volunteers to be filled with joy so they can spread Jesus when they come into contact with anyone

Pray for all the parents to know their children are protected because angels are surrounding all the corners of the school grounds

Pray for all the schools locally that each school brings a smile to every child’s face and gives all the students wisdom and knowledge to grow in this world.

Pray for safe travels to and from school. all the bus drivers, all the car riders. Remember if you’re running late that’s God protecting you so don’t rush be safe and know God is always looking out for you!

It’s very important to pray with your children, I loved bringing my son to daycare in the mornings because we would pray in the car. We would pray to have a good day, pray for our friends, family, pray for the teachers to be nice and kind to my son and all the students!

Transforming Thursday!

When you first gave your life to Christ you immediately became born again! The old you is gone! You are constantly growing spiritually closer to God the more years you spend with him. Your mindset changes, your behavior shifts, people in your life are different because your on the path to righteousness.

I’ve been doing a Changed Life: mom to mom daily devotional on the Holy Bible app. Doing parent devotionals helps me parent with Christ as my cornerstone in my life.

I want to share this little portion of the devotional with you because I feel like it can not only help me but also you. Reading this devotional is healing me transform my life to grow closer to God.

✨Parenting with God✨
One of the best ways I’ve helped my kids learn about grace is to ask them for forgiveness when I am wrong. I’ve done it from the time they were small, through their teenage years, and still today. I don’t just say I’m sorry, because lots of people apologize and don’t mean it. I ask them to forgive me. It’s an important distinction that I’ve found leaves a lasting impression.

When I ask them for forgiveness, it builds trust between us because they see I’m willing to humble myself and admit my mistakes. It gives them the opportunity to practice extending grace, even when it’s hard, they’re hurt, and they don’t want to. It also shows them how to have a repentant heart with friends and family, and also with God.

As parents, we’re the closest and most impactful example in our kids’ lives of what it looks like to have a relationship with God. When we teach our kids that asking for forgiveness isn’t something to be ashamed of or run from, they will know they can turn to God for forgiveness without fear of condemnation.

The way we live our lives as Christians not only gives our kids an example to follow (good or bad), but it also shapes their view of God’s character. In everything we do and say, we should try our best to acknowledge Christ, resemble Him, and point our kids to Him. When we do, we help strengthen their earthly relationships and their relationship with God.

What a great way to express your love to our
Heavenly Father, through worship music!

Having worship music playing in my house calms my kids when those moments seems hectic and I’m on the edge of freaking out, I immediately tell Alexa “play Christian music”

Driving in the car my son calls it’s “Jesus music”

Good morning!

I pray everyone stays safe during the storm!

So far a lot of tree limbs have fallen but nothing serious at my house, my husband went to work today and he made it their safety. Thankfully we still have power because these kiddos don’t know how to act with no power.

Sabbath Sunday!

I challenge you to find a HOME church! It’s important to have a church community you can call home and have friends.

I know the storm is coming tomorrow so you are going to want to prepare, but just remember have rest in Jesus that the storm will pass us and make sure you aren’t stressing out on this sabbath day!

When you hear someone say “ Put God first” do you really know how to apply that to your life? It’s very easy to say I trust in the lord, the lord is my savior but do we truly believe it? That is something I struggled with for a while after I gave my life to Christ. So, how did I overcome this struggle?

When we put God first that means before we make a life changing decision in our careers, when we are needing to discuss a topic with our spouse, before we talk to our boss at work, before we text/email someone concerning an issue, ANY scenario in our life we PRAY to God for guidance and wisdom and that’s putting God first! Everything else will fall into place, I have faith it will.

Our faith is constantly being tested so we must trust in the lord with all our heart and Put God first in our lives.

Prayer is a very important in our spiritual walk with God, it’s our way we create and keep a relationship with him. Don’t stop Praying.
