A people seeking and serving God in a little white church on the corners of Walnut and Prairie in Lake City, MN for almost 140 years! We're proud of our Swedish heritage, and are a mixture of individuals from all walks of life--imperfect people serving a perfect God!

Please pray for Jon S today as he has cancer removed from the tube that connects the kidneys & bladder, and one kidney removed too. Pray this is successful and all cancel will be gone.

Common Needs Swap & Spaghetti
All free, all are welcome.
New Hope Church
302 N. Prairie St, Lake City, MN

SWAP: 10am-4pm
SPAGHETTI MEAL: Served 11am - 2pm.

Bring what you can, take what you need!

We have adult and children’s clothing (lots of cold weather gear!), household, toys, books, decor, supplies, and more.

✨ New this time: Twice Loved Consignment shop has donated an abundance of clothing, bags, shoes, and accessories from her store. There are plenty of new with tags or gently worn women’s clothing items!

Volunteers from New Hope Church will be available to help unload donations from vehicles, bagging items, and bringing them to cars.

Leftover items are saved for future Swap events or donated to Pass It On thrift shop.

The “Common Needs” ministry intends to be ongoing into 2026 with Swap & Meal events hosted every other month starting in February with dates and details to be announced.

Prayer request: Dan J occasionally visits our church and he was badly injured on Wednesday. He has had 2 surgeries since to fix internal damage. Please pray for Dan to recover fully from his injuries and pray for his wife and children.

Don't forget! The Swap and Spaghetti is coming this Saturday from 10-4 and lunch is served from 11-2. The idea is to help those who may be experiencing "food insecurity" currently in our community, not necessarily a 'free lunch' for those with plenty. So, please spread the word and pray this event reaches those in need. And volunteers to help with the event and/or dinner are invited to respond in the comments, or to bring their donations between 8-10.
