Sr.. High (9th-12th grade) Riptide: Wednesday, September 9, 6:30pm: Sr. High Riptide resumes! A once-a-month night designed to pull us deeper into a relationship with Christ and each other. Every gathering pairs hands-on spiritual disciplines—like Scripture study, prayer, and worship—with engaging connection activities and high-energy games. Plus, this year we’re adding seasonal outings like corn mazes, bonfires, and ice skating. Above all, Riptide is built to be the friendliest, most welcoming place in town where everyone belongs! Sunday at LCCRC! NEW Message Series—
Life Can Be Good Again—The Journey to Hope for Those Who are Hurting
Good News! —God acts out of who he is, a God of love and compassion, who comes to those who are hurting. It is a part of the anointed work of the Spirit, and it was in the job description of the Messiah that the Son fulfilled, so why would we ever doubt that God cares about us when we are down? Good news! God does some of his best work in our brokenness! Believing that truth alone will allow a small ray of hope to crack through the dark clouds you feel and see. Life Can Be Good again!

Communion Sunday: Sunday, September 6: Please take time to prepare and examine yourself, and if there is anything in your life hindering your fellowship with our Lord or another Christian, we urge you to take care of that. Then, focusing on the Lord’s great grace, let us receive the Lord’s Supper with an attitude of gratitude.

New Message Series beginning this week!
Life Can Be Good Again - The journey to hope for those who are hurting.

When you’re in a dark valley, a place of deep discouragement, brokenness, loss, or pain, the future can look hopeless. How do you put one foot in front of the other when the day feels so bleak?

We can’t, but God can. He is the God of restoration, redemption, and new beginnings. Isaiah 61 shows us a pathway to healing and hope. This was written to encourage people who were living far from home, who were grieving and who felt powerless to change their circumstances. Even more than a life-plan or a path, this text is lived out in the life and mission of a person whose name is Jesus.

If you are hurting, or know someone who is, invite them to join us for this message series: “Life Can Be Good Again.”
