It has been 5 years since over 40 First Lutheran members spent a weekend in August building the church labyrinth.

Over the past 5 years, outreach and education regarding the Labyrinth experience has been offered, benches have been placed, landscaping continues to evolve and trees have been planted. The Labyrinth is a gift to the congregation and the community as a place for prayer, meditation and connection to God’s forgiveness, love and peace.

A program of re-dedication for the Labyrinth will occur at the end of our worship service on Sunday, August 23.

2026 marks milestones for two pastors at First Lutheran. On June 18, Pastor Paul Miller marked 20 years of ordination and on August 15, retired Pastor Duane Holst celebrated 50 years of ordination. We will honor both Pastor Duane and Pastor Paul ordination anniversaries with fellowship, coffee, and cake after worship on Sunday, August 16.

We had an amazing week at First Lutheran Vacation Bible School! Rainforest Falls taught the kids that God is everywhere! Wow God! Here are just a few highlights. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this week possible!

This past week First Lutheran youth visited Good Earth Village for Adventurers Day Camp! This was a one-day faith-filled camp experience for rising 1st-5th graders packed with Bible stories, games, crafts, water play, and classic camp fun! Plus a bonus stop to Dairy Queen on the way home.

Four First Lutheran Senior High students recently returned from a weeklong summer trip to Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp in Colorado! They had an amazing time worshipping and adventuring in God's creation. Thank you to our members for supporting this opportunity through fundraisers and lifting them up in prayer. ✝️🙏🏞️
