When life seems unstable, and you feel unsure about your direction and your purpose, remember the last thing that the Lord said to you. Holding on to the last thing He said will keep you on the right path. He will always instruct you in what to do next. When drought and famine hit the land, He told Elijah to go to the brook and wait. When the brook dried up, He told Elijah to go to the widow at Zarephath. Elijah did not decide on his own where he would go because of the conditions where he was. He patiently waited for the Lord to give the next set of instructions. You can read about this in 1 Kings 17. There may be times when life feels frustrating, confusing, and even scary. Just remember that our great God is aware. He's there with you. And he cares. You are never alone!
