After study and serious contemplation, Zander Huffman determined that when he was baptized around 4th or 5th grade, he did it because others around him were getting baptized. So, today, his father, Matt Huffman, baptized him into Christ for the remission of his sins. We are proud of Zander's decision!

Millard Adkins, 97-year-old member of the Clinton Church of Christ and father of Paul Adkins passed away on Friday. Please keep Paul and rest of the family in your prayers. Paul visits with us every so often and has brought Millard with him a couple of times. At this time, arrangements have not been completed.

Due to possible icey road conditions, the Lake City/Rocky Top Church of Christ will not be having Wednesday Night Bible Study tonight, February 19th. We look forward to seeing you Sunday!

There is still snow/ice on the church parking lot and most secondary roads. There is not much melting expected today and the forecasted low for Sunday morning in Rocky Top is 19 degrees which will turn it all to solid ice. So, we have decided to cancel all services at the Rocky Top/Lake City Church of Christ for Sunday, January 12, 2025. I encourage you to look for congregations with online services. Be safe! With the winter weather coming this morning, we know some will not want to get out. However, we are planning on having services at our regular times this morning, so we will meet at 10:00 for Bible classes and 11:00 for worship. If you have issues driving due to ice or snow, please exercise caution, and if you do not think you can drive safely, please stay home. If something changes, we will let you know on the band app and page.

Due to the condition of secondary and thirdanary 😉 roads...along with the 8+ inches of snow in our parking lot and single digit temperatures Sunday morning, we will not be having in person worship services this Sunday, January 21st. Other than main roads, it is still treacherous and the forecast foretells it will not get any better by Sunday. Clinton Church of Chist and Claxton Church of Christ will be doing livestream services via their page if you would like to be a part of those. Stay safe!
