Please join us for a candlelit Christmas program. We will read the Christmas Story and sing favorite Christmas Hymns. There will be time for family sharing where we invite anyone to share a song, a poem, a reading, or anything else you might find fitting. The service closes with Silent Night by candlelight. Afterward, we will enjoy homemade treats, candy, punch and fellowship.

All are invited to the Lake City UMC candlelit Christmas service on Friday, December 22, at 7pm. We will share the Christmas story, sing Christmas hymns, and enjoy fellowship and refreshments.
Young and old are encouraged to share - this can be a musical talent, a Christmas story, a favorite verse, a poem, or any other way you might want to contribute.
You may bring a snack to share, but there are always plenty of treats to go around if baking isn't your gift.

At today's charge conference, Rev Dr Chali shared the scripture from his first time preaching as an adolescent. Philippians 3:12-14 comes from Paul, who humbly acknowledged that he doesn't have it all together yet, but he will press on because Christ has called him. Over thirty years later, Chali shared that this message is still true for him.

Last Sunday we were blessed to hear from Nicole and Kambry. They shared stories and pictures from their mission trip to New York last summer.
