Ten Thousand Villages Order to be Placed September 7.

Help Support our Mission Projects!

Hey everyone. I would like to get a Ten Thousand Villages jump start on the holiday season, before all the best stuff sells out, by placing an initial order on September 7. If you would like to support our mission projects, for examples our Malawi Partnership and Reading Buddies, by purchasing items from our Ten Thousand Villages Mission Mart, here’s what you do:

Go to tenthousandvillages.com and peruse the hundreds (a thousand? Not sure, I never counted, but it’s a LOT!) of items they offer. There’s something for everyone on your gift list. Or buy yourself a gift! It’s lots of fun just looking at all the colorful, unique, handcrafted items and reading about the artisans who make them in the descriptions.

Then make a list of items you would like to purchase, including the name of the item AND the SKU number, located underneath the name of the item on the website. Give your list to me by or before Sunday, September 6 and I will order the items. Please keep in mind, I often give church members and friends a discount on the prices. Merchandise will arrive prior to my trip mid-Sept. If you need items before the end of October, I can arrange to get them to you before I leave. Otherwise, I will distribute the purchases early November.

I hope you enjoy perusing and purchasing Ten Thousand Villages items as much as I do. And it’s for a good cause! Not only are we supporting the people who create the items in third world countries around the globe through fair trade practices, but we’re also contributing to local and international mission projects through our church.
