The word 'evangelical' has become a very common word in our modern vocabulary. In fact, I used the word often in my sermons. However, when asked to describe what an evangelical is, our vocabulary often fails us. In this video, Jeremy Duncan from Common Church gives a very clear definition and history of the term. Just who are the prophets and what do they say?

We often don't give them the attention they deserve. But they have very strong, very important messages. Did you know there are times when God doesn't hear your prayers. In fact, times when God does not WANT to hear your prayers. Times when your worship music sounds like a clanging gong to God and every new song you sing hurts God's ears? Good Morning Everyone! Join us today on Zoom for Sunday school at 9:30 and Worship at 10:30.

After communion, we will be taking some time to remember Sara Brasher: a long-time member, elder in the church, and a faithful servant. Constantly on the go, helping and serving others, her care for the home-bound members of the church is especially noteworthy. She was a special part of our church family and will be greatly missed.
