Board Member Spotlight: Dr. Norman Thomas, Jr.

Few people understand the mission of Boys Village quite like Dr. Norman Thomas, Jr.

After serving on our staff for more than 15 years, Dr. Thomas continues his commitment to the young men of Boys Village as a member of our Board of Directors, joining the board in April 2025 and previously serving as Board Secretary.

A respected pastor, mentor, and community leader, Dr. Thomas has spent his life helping others discover their purpose and potential. As Senior Pastor and Founder of New Life Church International, he has impacted countless lives around the world through faith, leadership, and service.

His heart for mentoring young men is especially evident through the Boys Village Eagle Leadership Club, a program he founded to encourage boys who demonstrate good character, honesty, integrity, responsibility, and leadership potential. Through biblical principles, mentorship, and encouragement, Dr. Thomas helps these young men build confidence, develop leadership skills, and see themselves as the leaders they were created to be.

Whether serving Boys Village, his church, or the broader community, Dr. Thomas leads by example—with wisdom, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

We are grateful for his continued investment in our boys and for the positive influence he brings to Boys Village every day. His dedication reminds us that leadership is not just about guiding others—it is about inspiring them to become the very best version of themselves.
