Spring has finally arrived and the Lake Carey Union Chapel is all spruced up and anxious to welcome you back to our 2026 summer season of worship. Our first service is this Sunday, May 31st. at 10 a.m. Please join us. A warm welcome awaits you.

The Lake Carey Chapel will be holding a Summer Food Drive for the Seven Loaves Soup Kitchen on Saturday, June 20, from 11:00am to 3:00pm, Donations can be dropped off at 3 Indian Spring Road (Flow Pond). Our amazing lake community showed such overwhelming support during last fall’s food drive, and we truly can’t thank you enough. Because of your generosity, so many families were helped, and we are hopeful we can come together once again.

This summer, we are especially collecting items for children who may need a little extra help while school is out. Your kindness and support mean more than you know. Thank you for always stepping up and showing how caring and giving our Lake Carey community truly is. Together, we can continue to make a difference!

Join us for a wonderful evening at the second Lake Carey Union Chapel Christmas Caroling around the lake on Thursday, December 4th. Brown Hill Farms will take us on an open air wagon ride, where we’ll sing our favorite Christmas Carols and spread the joy of the season together. Meet us at 4:45pm at the Lake Carey Fire House. Be sure to dress warm!

Today is the day you could make a difference in someone's life. Please consider making a non-perishible food donation.

Now more than ever, the Seven Loaves Soup Kitchen needs our support. Just last month, they served 3,375 meals—not including the many people who stop by for pantry items. Together, we can help make sure no one in our surrounding communities goes hungry.

They need cereal, canned pastas, spaghetti sauce, pasta, canned stews, chili, individual fruit cups, and soups. If you’d rather make a monetary donation, checks can be made out to Seven Loaves Soup Kitchen.

Let’s show how big our little lake community’s heart truly is. With your help, we can make a meaningful impact this season.

A little rain couldn't stop the fellowship following our Lake Carey Weekend chapel service. Our thanks to our treasured friend, the Rev. James Skinner for once again gracing our pulpit and to Alan Thatcher for the gift of his special music. Thanks also to everyone who helped set up, clean up or shared a goodie. What a special morning!
