But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. (Romans 6:17–18, NKJV)

It is a blessing to see those from the inside, on the outside!

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:57–58, NKJV)

A new year brings new opportunity.
After several years of walking alongside Jason, we are thankful for the progress and commitment we’ve seen. We are pleased to offer him a place at the transition house in the fall of 2026 and look forward to what lies ahead.

Our ministry may start behind prison walls, but it carries forward into the community. We give thanks for all who serve and for the lives that have been changed. Changed lives, change lives!

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalm 133:1, NKJV)

Today we are thankful for the opportunity to connect Allen to the body of Christ, outside of prison walls. Allen is on work release for the next six months, then he will be officially released. Allen has also had an opportunity to reconnect with his kids. We thank God for the opportunities He gives!

“He Said”
by Kathryn Britt
(currently residing at Lowell CI)

I lay and talked with the Lord today.
I told Him I was grateful He gave His Son that day, but it still didn't feel like 'grateful' was good enough to say. To give your only Son, to give Him as a sacrifice, an innocent lamb to be slain so we could find forgiveness for all of our wicked ways. I said I don't think I could give up my child. I can't imagine the love you have for us.

He said that's just it. It’s bigger than you can fathom. It was my plan from the beginning to bring my lost children back to me. My Son may have died, but He has risen at my right hand. He sits waiting to intercede for you to find salvation, and so your sins can be forgiven. I never lost anything; it was a win-win situation. I sacrificed Him for you, and you and you, for my creation, there's nothing I wouldn't do. Some days you may face trials, just keep your eyes on Me. When your crown falls, straighten it. Remember, you are the daughter of a King.

He said do you not know, I have always been and will always be. Not even death or angels could separate you from me. Be patient; it's a journey. You are becoming the woman you were always meant to be. When you feel like giving up, just turn around and see the one set of footprints in the sand, for I always have and always will carry you in my hand.

As Thanksgiving approaches, we are especially grateful for the opportunity to serve. This time of year reminds us all to share kindness and hope with those in need. If you’re considering an end-of-year gift, a donation to our ministry can make a real difference in the lives of inmates we serve across Florida’s state prisons. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts this Thanksgiving season!
