YOU ARE GOD'S MASTERPIECE

" For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
~Ephesians 2:10

The dictionary defines a “masterpiece” as “a person’s greatest work of art.” Now, when God’s Word describes you as His masterpiece, what comes into your mind? Do you accept His view of you, or do you think, Well, He must be talking about someone else…if He really knew me, He wouldn’t think that! He is talking about you and I! He loves us! The truth is that we are His masterpiece whether we feel like it or not. God does not and cannot lie.

As God’s child, He sees us as perfect, holy, and blameless in His sight. We are a treasure to Him. He cares for us and wants to help us in this life. Think about an artist. What does an artist do with a masterpiece? He cherishes it and protects it and takes care of it. In the same way, your good Father cherishes, protects, and takes care of us. We mean the world to Him. When we grasp that fact, it will literally change us from the inside out.

When you look up the Greek words describing “abundance” referring to the “abundance of grace” you see words like “overflowing fullness”, “extremely plentiful”, “ultra super abounds” and “more exceedingly.”

Romans 5:17 NKJV “For if by one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who RECEIVE ABUNDANCE OF GRACE and of the gift of righteousness will REIGN in life through the one, Jesus Christ.”

“I teach grace. I encourage others with grace. But some days, I struggle to let myself have it. I catch a mistake and think, “I should’ve known better! I had the tools, the experience, the faith.” But I’ve learned that knowing better doesn’t make you immune to being human. Fear still triggers reactions, fatigue still clouds judgment and pressure still impairs performance. That’s why we have a Savior. Not just for the moments we didn’t know better, but also for the times we did. God isn’t shocked by your failure. He already accounted for it. He already decided to forgive you. Accept it. And forgive yourself.”
