Someone else said it well enough, I don't need to "fix" it:

If your gospel never offends your political tribe, it’s probably not the gospel.

Jesus comforted the hurting but confronted the powerful. His Kingdom doesn’t rubber-stamp our ideologies—it calls all of us to repentance, to cruciform allegiance, to surrender.

That’s why the gospel is such a threat to partisanship.

Because it doesn’t say “God bless my side.”
It says “Jesus is Lord.”

Three Lichtsinn children were baptized at our church on Sunday, September 7. May God watch over them through their lives and bring joy to their family and friends. God bless them and their families.
