Families, we know the start of the school year can bring every emotion across the spectrum, from excitement to fear and everything in between. As you step into this new season, we want you to know that we are praying these things over you and your homes.

As you adjust to new routines, our prayer is that you build your schedules around God rather than simply fitting Him into your plans.

Be still and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10). We pray for opportunities to build healthy spiritual rhythms together, abiding in Christ as the branch abides in the vine. Apart from Him you can do nothing, but whoever abides in Him bears much fruit (John 15:4–5). As you center your home on Him, let the word of God be present, teaching one another in wisdom with thankfulness in your hearts (Col 3:16).

Rooted in that foundation, we pray God gives your families the grace to live in harmony, reflecting Christ in everything you do. Whenever you gather, may you share the same mindset and love, staying completely united (Rom 15:5-7). Keep loving one another faithfully, using the unique gifts you have each received to serve one another (1 Pet 4:8–10). Let your home be a place where you encourage and build each other up (1 Thess 5:11), letting only words that spur on come from your mouths. Words that give grace, truth, and love to those who hear (Eph 4:29).

Finally, as your children head back to class and you go about your weeks, may your families become a true witness to Christ’s kingdom. We pray that you step out not as isolated individuals, but as a unified community reflecting His love to your schools, your neighborhoods, and anywhere you go as a family.

Amen.

We want to ensure every student in our community is set up for success! We are officially collecting items for our Back to School Backpack Drive. Take a look and see how you can get involved below!

Here is everything you need to know...

What to Donate: We are looking for brand-new backpacks and fresh school supplies to give away.

Drop-off Window: We are accepting dropped off items through Sunday, August 2nd. Even up til the day of if we have more coming in!

Distribution: The official Backpack Drive distribution will take place on Thursday, August 6th from 5p-7p.

Let's come together and make a massive difference for these students. Pick up some extra supplies on your next shopping trip, drop them off during our collection window, and we will see you at the distribution event!
