Within the entire passage of Genesis 24 the servant of Abraham is never named!

Torah purposefully leaves him nameless in this passage because this entire event alludes to a picture that is relevant to us today!

It is a picture of the Holy Spirit being sent out among mankind to find a pure, holy and suitable bride for The Son, Yeshua.

Although left unnamed it is understood to be Eliezer, Abraham's oldest and most faithful servant. See Genesis 15

Eliezer name means “helper of My God” which makes the revelation even clearer!

Genesis 18:11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in years —Sarah had stopped having the way of women (she was barren)
So Sarah laughed to herself saying, “after I have grown decrepit , can I have desire —and my husband also?”

Sarah laughs at the absurd yet incredible nature of the promise. Sarah had been a barren woman her whole life! Having been a barren young woman she understood that to carry a child she would indeed need a miracle from God but now, being both barren and very old, she believed it was absurd as it was incredible that an old, barren woman would carry a child—that after all this time of being young and full of life… the child she wanted her entire life would come in her old age—after all she is 90 years old!

Do you often believe you’re an unfit vessel for God's miracles?

Genesis 18:14 “Is there anything too hard for The Lord?”
Well, is it?

Genesis 17:23 Abraham is instructed to circumcise himself and all the males in his house—and without hesitation, in the same verse, he does so.

In Genesis 18 Adonai, accompanied by two other angelic hosts, visit the home of Abraham!

Our Rabbis teach that instant obedience is always met with an immediate Divine visitation from God! For even Israel, after the construction of the Tabernacle, is given the Shekinah Glory!

Obedience is vital! For it makes our lives a habitable place for the presence of God.

Genesis 12:1 Now The Lord had said to Abram, “𝑳𝒆𝒄𝒉 𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒂, get going! from your country and from your kindred and from your father’s house to a land I shall show you.”

Gods instruction for Abram to leave his country, kindred and fathers house are all symbolic of different levels of comfort God instructs us to depart from

Genesis 6:9 “…Noah was a righteous man. He was blameless among his generation. Noah continually walked with God.”

Noah’s blamelessness does not imply perfection but instead highlights his integrity and devotion to walking in the Light of God, separate from the widespread darkness of the world!

We are ALL called to walk just as Noah did!

After posting our Shabbat service in which we studied parsha Beresh*t, that is Genesis 1:1-6:8, learning of the hidden revelations within creation week, I watched the video back and a PROFOUND revelation was reveled to me by God Himself!

God spoke to me as pastor Ray taught our Brit Chadashah, that is the New Testament portion, in which shows us the harmony of Gods Word from beginning to end, John 1:1 was among the passages read.

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word.
The Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
We have been reading this wrong the entire time! We had held onto the revelation of John 1:1 telling us that the Word of God, the Bible, is eternal. Although this has been a beautiful revelation the church has held on for years it is not the exact meaning of the scripture.

God is saying “in the beginning” is the Word.
For those 3 english words are one Hebrew word, Beresh*t! Therefore God is refering to parsha Beresh*t through hiniting at the first Word of the Bible.

John 1:1 “…the Word was with God..”
Indeed the Word Beresh*t was with God! It stood next to God in Genesis 1:1!
Genesis 1:1 “in the beginning God…”

John 1:1 “…and the Word was God.”
John 1:14 “and the Word became flesh and dwelled among us.”
When studying the Hebrew spelling of Beresh*t a mystery revealed!—It is a literal picture of Yeshua.

Isaiah 46:9-10 “Remember the former things of old: for I AM GOD—there is no other like Me—declaring the end from the beginning, from ancient time, what is yet to come…”
In this passage God is urging His people to recall “the beginning” that is the creation story, covenant promises and His deep relationship with His people…yet there is still more being hinted at!

The words “in the beginning” translates to the Hebrew word beresh*t.

When studying Torah and the Hebrew language we understand that the book widely known as Genesis is also known as Beresh*t after these famous words;
Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning…”

With this information we understand that in Isaiah 46:10 Adonai is urging us to hone into the beginning, that is Genesis, for there are revelations and mysteries fortelling the end.

Have we been reading Genesis wrong the entire time? What mysteries does Genesis hold? Reveal them with us at The Kings church this Sabbath!
