Have you ever wondered where God is when life seems uncertain and heaven feels silent? The Book of Esther tells the remarkable story of God’s people facing a crisis that threatened their very existence. Strikingly, God’s name is never mentioned in the book, yet His presence is evident on every page. Through unexpected circumstances, courageous faith, and what appear to be ordinary events, God works behind the scenes to preserve His people and fulfill His promises. Join us this Sunday as we explore Esther’s story and discover the comfort of knowing that even when God seems hidden, He is never absent.

This Sunday, we gather around Nehemiah 8:1–12 and Matthew 28:16–20, and whether you’re an exile returning from captivity or a disciple preparing for ministry, the words of Scripture can be a great comfort—gathering us in God’s presence, reminding us of His faithfulness, and strengthening us for whatever lies ahead.

This Sunday we turn to Nehemiah 8:1–12, one of the great moments of spiritual renewal in Scripture. After years of exile, brokenness, and rebuilding, the people of Jerusalem gather, not around a military victory or a political leader, but around the Word of God. As Ezra reads the Law, the people weep, rejoice, worship, and rediscover their identity as God’s people. In a world filled with exhaustion, distraction, and uncertainty, this passage reminds us that true strength is not found in ourselves, but in the presence and joy of the Lord: “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” Join us as we explore how God still rebuilds weary hearts through His Word.

Sometimes life shifts so suddenly that we find ourselves standing
in circumstances we never expected, realizing the strength and certainty we once relied on are no longer enough.
This Sunday, we will explore one of the great prayers of the Old Testament from 2 Chronicles 20, where King Jehoshaphat stands before an overwhelming crisis and confesses, “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” Together we will discover how God meets His people in seasons of fear, uncertainty, and exhaustion — and how worship, prayer, and trust can become the pathway forward when the future feels unclear.

This Sunday we return to our journey through the Bible in 2 Kings 22, where the forgotten Book of the Law is rediscovered during the reign of King Josiah.
In one of the most powerful moments in Israel’s history, the king hears God’s Word and realizes how far the nation has drifted. This passage reminds us that renewal does not begin with programs, politics, or power, but with hearing the voice of God again. Join us as we reflect on what it means to rediscover God’s Word and return to the story He has been writing from the very beginning.

After a break from our journey through the Bible, we’re gathering again to reconnect with one another and with the larger story God is telling. This week’s message, “The Story We’re Living In,” traces the biblical narrative from Genesis to 2 Samuel, showing how God has been working from the very beginning to restore what was broken through promise, covenant, and the hope of a coming King. If you’ve felt a bit disconnected or need to be reminded of the bigger picture, this will be a meaningful place to step back in.

Merciful God, who sent your messengers the prophets to preach repentance and prepare the way for our salvation: Give us grace to heed their warnings and forsake our sins, that we may greet with joy the coming of Jesus Christ our Redeemer; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
