The paths Mattathias and his five sons, the Maccabees, walked and the solutions they sought rewrote the future for Jews and later, for Christians. Learn the story of 1Maccabees in a joint adult education program with Rabbi Glenn Jacob of Shir Congregation Shir Chadash of the Hudson Valley and Rev. Paul Lent from Freedom Plains United Presbyterian Church. This 5-week program begins Sunday, Feb. 5 at 4 p.m. live at FPPC/Shir Chadash followed by three virtual sessions and an in-person culmination. All are welcome.
