What a beautiful day of fellowship, food, fun, and faith! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our church picnic. It was a blessing to gather together, share laughter, create memories, and enjoy the wonderful fellowship of our church family.
As we continue our journey of faith, we reflect on today’s message:

✨ We’ve come this far by faith.�✨ Leaning on the Lord.�✨ Trusting in His holy name.
No matter what challenges we face, God has brought us this far and He will continue to guide us every step of the way. Let us keep trusting, believing, and walking by faith together.

Yesterday at Antioch Baptist Church, Reverend Tommy Gilbert delivered a powerful message from The Bible, 1 Peter 4:12–19 with the subject: “Rejoice.”

He reminded us:
✨ Don’t be surprised by the trials we face
✨ Rejoice even in the midst of suffering
✨ Don’t be ashamed to stand for Christ
✨ Trust God through it all

Even after the service, the message still lingers—encouraging us to hold on to our faith, keep our joy, and trust God no matter what comes our way.

The past few Sundays at Antioch Baptist Church have truly been a blessing! 💛

On March 29th, we were honored to have Kimberly Edmondson Little pour into our youth with a powerful and uplifting message that truly spoke to their hearts.

On April 5th, we reflected on Matthew 28:5-6, a beautiful reminder of hope and the resurrection—“He is not here: for He is risen…” 🙌🏽 In addition, we celebrated the christening of Cherish Gilbert, such a precious and joyful moment for the family and our church.

On April 12th, we witnessed a beautiful baptismal service—what a powerful expression of faith and new beginnings! 💧✨

And last but definitely not least… we joyfully celebrated Reverend Tommy Gilbert’s 73rd Birthday on Thursday April 16th! 🎉 What a blessing he is to our church family. We thank God for his life, leadership, and continued strength.

✨ Sunday Service Reflection ✨

What a beautiful time in the Lord today! 🙌🏽

The message came from Psalm 27:13-14 with the subject: “Be Patient.”

In a world where everything moves so fast, we were reminded to slow down and trust God in the waiting.

💛 Wait with expectations – Believe that God is working things out for your good.
💛 Wait patiently – Even when it’s hard, trust His timing over your own.
💛 Know who you’re waiting on – Our hope is in the Lord, and He never fails.

Sometimes the waiting season feels long, but today’s word reminded us that God is always on time. Stay encouraged, stay faithful, and don’t give up!

Have a blessed week ahead—keep trusting, keep praying, and keep waiting on Him. ✨🙏🏽
