We are praying for all those in the path of Hurricane Isaias! At this time we do not expect any impact to our Sunday services, but should that change we will let you know. Stay safe, friends!

I know the Maker of the rain.
He can calm the storm, make the sun shine again.
I know the Master of the wind. 🎵

Our fabulous Senior Warden, Cathy Hunt, shared about Blessing of the Animals in her recent column in the LaGrange Daily News. Check it out!

Cathy Hunt reflects on her church’s Blessing of the Animals service and the legacy of St. Francis of Assisi, urging care for people, animals and the earth.

What a joyful day at St. Mark’s as we welcomed Gods creatures! The Blessing of the Animals on the Feast Day of St. Francis is a time to give thanks to God for his creations, for the happiness animals bring into our lives, and to celebrate the bond between humans and pets.

UPDATE: Due to weather - bring your pets & join us in the parish hall!
When we say ALL are welcome at St. Mark's - we mean even the animals! This Sunday we will celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi and the Blessing of the Animals! Bring your fur baby for this special blessing (or a picture, toy, memento, etc.). After the service, we will fellowship together at our 1st Sunday Breakfast.
9:30 AM - on the backyard lawn weather permitting. If raining, we will move our service (and pets!) indoors to the Parish Hall.

Join us in Celebrating the Gordon’s 3rd year at St. Mark’s!

A few things have happened in those 3 years…a sweet baby boy has joined the family, two precious girls have grown and become Acolytes, Julie stepped up as interim part-time Youth Director, and Andrew has faithfully guided us into a new and exciting season at St. Mark’s.

THANK YOU, Andrew, Julie, Cesia, Amalia, and Isaiah! Thank you for your devotion, your leadership, and your love for this parish. Lives have been touched and our community strengthened. We give thanks to God for bringing you to St. Mark’s and pray that He continues to pour out His blessings upon your ministry.

Jeremiah 3:15: "Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding."
