Some Fodor lore to start your day, I once dated a girl while working on a [redacted] CAD file. She thought it was cool and she was into 2A stuff, she asked me to name it after her when I released it. She left me before the file was ready for public release, but true to my word, I named the file after her once it was complete. I even put a little Easter Egg into the CAD file, just for her (I’m a bit of a romantic, I guess). I kind of wish she knew about it, but whether she ever knows or not, it doesn’t change that I did it for her. Code is first amendment and can be expressive and artistic, f**k anyone who tells you differently. CAD files are protected speech and that’s not even touching on how people feel about 2A, which is also protected. Get out there and practice your rights, regardless of the law.

Colorado HB26-1144 passed Second Reading in the House Chamber today on a vote of 38 yes, 18 no, and 9 excused. This bill bans private firearm manufacturing using 3D printers and CNC machines, and criminalizes the possession and distribution of related digital files and instructions. It creates a new crime category in Colorado law with stiff penalties.

The billl will have one final vote in the House Chamber on Third Reading next week before it moves to the Senate Chamber where a public hearing will be held before making its way to a full Senate vote. Track all 2026 Colorado gun bills here: https://rallyforourrights.com/
