Update from the field! 🌍✨

So far today, we’ve connected with the other Georgia Baptists serving alongside us out here. We also had the incredible opportunity to share breakfast with Dustin Stottmann, a church planter doing amazing work at Hope Valley Church in West Jordan (a town of about 60,000 just outside Salt Lake City).

We loved getting to know Dustin, hearing his heart, and learning about the specific needs Hope Valley Church has as they move forward.

The views out here are absolutely beautiful! Please keep praying for our team and the ministries we're connecting with. 🙏🏔️

Missed a slide on Sunday! 🤦🏻‍♂️

During his message, Pastor Derrick talked about this incredible artifact: The Pilate Stone. Found in Caesarea, its inscription directly references Pontius Pilate, confirming his role as the Prefect of Judea and powerfully backing up the biblical record.

Today’s service was filled with special moments as we began by remembering our fallen heroes and honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country this Memorial Day weekend 🇺🇸

We also took time to pray over our Utah Mission Trip team — Davis Richardson, Ben Maanum, and Derrick Fielder — as we send them off this week. We are expectant for God to move through them and use them powerfully during their time out west! 🙏

We also wrapped up “The Whole Story” series on a fitting day as we observed Pentecost Sunday — remembering the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church. What a powerful reminder that the same Spirit that moved then is still moving today!
