I saw this photo today and immediately thought about what it means to love yourself and then how to do that better.

For many, the love of self is put into a from of arrogance, pride, or misplaced value in appearance, wealth, and even the popularity of those they surround themselves with.

To love yourself better, you need to fall in love with the One who sees, formed, and created you. How can you love yourself without knowing first how loved you truly are and that you matter so much?

When you let go of feelings of lack, disgust, unforgiveness, hatred, being forgotten, loneliness, etc, and put your eyes on the Word and what He says about you, your eyes will be opened to the truth of how much He loves YOU and who YOU are so you can see yourself through His eyes. THEN, you can love yourself from a place of seeing how to love you the way He loves you.

He knew this world needed YOU. You are not a mistake, an after thought, or unseen. You are seen and loved by the creator of Heaven and Earth who is passionate about YOU!

“You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb. I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord! You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place; carefully, skillfully you shaped me from nothing to something. You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book. Every single moment you are thinking of me! When you see yourself this way, how can you not love yourself? Only He can show you how to love yourself better. So, this year, press into Him and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal who you are in His eyes.❤️

I think this is such a great idea! Let’s cover one another in prayer and see the lives of the women around us transformed by the promises and decrees of God!
Here’s an example prayer: “Lord, I thank you for ______. I thank you that she is known and loved. Please forgive us of any sin, known or unknown. Purify our hearts that we can receive from You. Open her eyes to anything You wish to remove or want her to lay down so she can walk into her destiny. Give her clarity and peace. Your Word says, _____ is Holy, beloved, set apart, and created for such a time as this. Your plans for her are good. Your intentions toward her are good. She is loved and chosen by You. She is healed because Your body was broken, and she is forgiven because Your blood was poured out for her. Let _____ hear Your voice and operate in the gifts You gave her. We thank You, Jesus. Amen!”
