First night of Illumination Station Winter Bible School!
We had so much fun tonight. We started with a meal that began around 5:15 and then the program started at 6:00. Everyone had a good time learning about how Jesus is the light of the world.
We look forward to next Wednesday when the LaFayette Methodist Church will be providing the meal.

We are now less than a week away from our Winter Bible School Event!! The group has been working hard in decorating and planning for a wonderful time for everyone to come and learn how Jesus is the Light of the World!
The event starts next Wednesday, February 25, at 5:15pm with a meal. The program starts at 6:00pm with classes for kids Pre-K through adult.

Join us this Sunday! Fun for the whole family!

Our VBS closing program will be tonight, June 23rd at 7:30 pm at Zion Lutheran Church. Please come watch all the children show off everything they have learned all this week! Hotdogs, refreshments, and dessert will be provided after the program for everyone.

We will also have Sue Nichols from Guiding Light Ministries speak about their ministry. This years offering will help continue their outreach into the community. Please give if you are able.

***All VBS kids should still report at the normal time of 6:00 pm tonight so we can practice!***

It's not too late to register! We have had a great two nights so far. All of the money offerings that each class brings in this year will go to Guiding Light Ministries. You can read more about their ministry here: https://guidinglighthome.org/ Please help if you are able. The kids are having fun watching us complete the coloring of our house as we raise money!

VBS starts tonight through Friday! Remember, The Lafayette Community VBS is at Zion Lutheran Church this year. Zion is located at 101 East Main Street in Lafayette beside the Civil War Monument. VBS starts at 6:00 pm every evening, but please try to arrive early tonight to get checked in.

If you registered online, children will need to pick up their name badge at the registration table and they are good to go to the sanctuary for the VBS opening! If you prefer to register in-person this evening, pick up a form for each child at the registration table and complete it before you leave. VBS will be over each evening this week at about 8:30 pm. Please try to arrive at least 10 minutes early for pickup.

All of our volunteers and leaders have been working very hard to make sure this is another great year of VBS. We are very excited to see all the kids tonight and do some Twists and Turns with Jesus!!!
