đź“Ł SOLA Giving Day ended in 2024, but the spirit of improving our region through generosity lives on in a new, more strategic form. CFA is excited to announce the 2026 Competitive Grants Cycle is now open, offering new funding opportunities for nonprofits across Acadiana!

When organizations apply for a CFA grant, they are doing more than submitting an application, they are sharing the vision behind their work and how their programs create meaningful change in our communities.

In addition to launching this year’s cycle, we’ve made it easy to get started with a webinar recording and a step-by-step video tutorial to guide applicants through the letter of interest and application process.

This year includes the return of five grant opportunities through the Affiliate Grants Program and the addition of a new grant opportunity:

🖊️Affiliate Grants – Up to $5,000. Grants for local community projects within Evangeline, Iberia, St. Landry, St. Mary, or Vermilion parishes.

🖊️“The Fund for Acadiana” Grants – Up to $15,000. A new regional grant supporting high-impact projects across the Acadiana region.

At this morning’s reception we heard from several special guests, thanked our incredible sponsors, and celebrated the successes of this year’s SOLA Giving Day. With over $2 million raised through over 5,000 donations to 203 organizations, it was one for the books!
