Happy Feast Day Pope St. Pius X! Today, let’s reflect on Pope St. Pius X and his motto, “To restore all things in Christ.” Ephesians 1:10

Prayer: Pope Saint Pius X, at your core, you were a pastor and a shepherd of souls who loved the poor and desired all people to come to know Christ. Pray for me, that I may be used by God for great things, by doing every small thing with great love. Pray for our Holy Father, the Roman Curia, all clergy and religious, and the entire Church. Pray also for the poor and abandoned, those without faith, and those newly converted. May your prayers win many souls for God, just as your actions did while you served Him on earth. Pope Saint Pius X, pray for me. Jesus, I trust in You.

Happy Feast Day St. Clare of Assisi! St. Clare was designated as the patron saint of television in 1958 by Pope Pius XII, because when St. Clare was very ill, she could not attend mass and was reportedly able to see and hear it on the wall in her room. She is also the patroness of eye disease, goldsmiths, and laundry.

St. Clare is often pictured carrying a monstrance or pyx, to commemorate the time she warded off the soldiers at the gates of her convent with the Blessed Sacrament.

Today we celebrate the Transfiguration of the Lord, when Jesus revealed His divine glory to Peter, James, and John on the mountain. In that radiant moment, His face shone like the sun and His clothes became dazzling white—He allowed His disciples to see Him as He truly is: the Son of God, full of power, light, and love.

✨ In this moment, we find hope.

Hope that beyond the trials of life, there is glory.
Hope that Jesus walks with us through every valley and will lead us to the mountain.
Hope that what was revealed on Tabor is a foretaste of what awaits us in heaven.

The Transfiguration reminds us that even when the cross lies ahead—as it did for Jesus—we are not abandoned. God’s plan is unfolding, and His glory is greater than anything we can imagine.

Let us lift our eyes today and be reminded:
The light of Christ always shines through.

🌸Registration Now OPEN for Women’s Bible Study at St. Pius X🌸

This fall we will follow the Walking with Purpose Bible study, Beholding His Glory, which will last 9 weekly sessions beginning after Labor Day, the week of September 8.

About the Study
Beholding His Glory shows us how all Scripture points us to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. We’ll learn to recognize and appreciate God’s plan for our own lives, His awe-inspiring majesty, and His desire for personal intimacy with each one of us.
