“Where two or three gather as my followers, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:20
Even a power outage couldn’t stop the Holy Spirit from being with us today in church! The air may have been still but there was still movement in hearts.
It felt like a glimpse into the Early Church, no fancy sound equipment, no air conditioning. Just Jesus and our hearts. When sound isn’t being amplified it forces the listener to be still, lean in close, and pay attention to what’s being spoken.
How often does the Lord whisper to us when he has something important to say? As if to say, “Come close, I need you to hear me clearly.”
