Laconia United Presbyterian Church

This post is to inform everyone that the active congregational members of Laconia United Presbyterian Church decided on April 10, 2022, to officially close the church building.

The session and congregation have been fervently trying to find solutions for the building's disrepair and foundational issues for many years. We met with many various companies and contractors the last few years, but continually met the same dead end. Due to the foundational issues and the COVID pandemic, the church building has been vacant since March 2020.

While we are sad to report the decision of closing the church building, we are happy to let you know that the church body is still meeting on a monthly basis at the Laconia Civic Center (former Laconia Elementary/High School). At this time, we are worshiping on the first Sunday of every month at 9:30 A.M. (Subject to change based on pulpit supply and holidays/special occasions. Feel free to message us on here to double check worship service dates.) We would love for you to join us whenever possible!

Please comment with any memories you may have of the church. Our congregation would love to read them!

We are so very proud of Mr. Maddox Baker! Maddox will be competing in the State Track Finals next Saturday, and will graduate next Sunday! Way to go, Maddox!

Today we celebrated our last Sunday with Pastor Molly. It has been a blessing having Molly, Mario, and Miriam with us for the last several years. We wish them the best in their new adventures!

The children were also presented with personalized bibles this morning 💜
